About the Sacred Kos Yatra

The traditional Kos Parikrama is a sacred pilgrimage around Pushkar and its surrounding holy lands. The two major circuits are:

  • 7.5 Kos Parikrama: approximately 24 km
  • 24 Kos Parikrama: approximately 72 km

These sacred journeys connect Pushkar Sarovar, Budha Pushkar, Madhya Pushkar, ancient temples, caves and hidden spiritual sites.

4-Day Sacred Journey

Day 1 – Inner Sacred Circle (7.5 Kos)

Visit Pushkar Lake, Gau Ghat, Brahma Temple, Panchkund, Arjun Cave, Gaumukh Temple, Gayatri Mata Temple and sacred kunds.

Day 2 – Outer Sacred Circle: Part I

Explore Budha Pushkar, ancient villages, sacred forests, hill caves, hidden temples and local ashrams.

Day 3 – Outer Sacred Circle: Part II

Discover Madhya Pushkar, Naga Kund, Bhadavari temples, rose valleys, traditional farmlands and ancient sages' meditation sites.

Day 4 – Divine Rituals & Reflection

Experience morning meditation, a traditional havan, optional Shiva Abhishekam or personalized pooja, and a spiritual farewell near Pushkar Lake.
